Refreshing The Trade Board
Before beginning to work with the Trade Board it is a good idea to Refresh the Trade Board so you have the latest information available.- Click Trade Board in the Left Side Panel of Crew Companion.
- Click the Refresh Trade Board button.


Understanding The Trade Board Icons
When working with the Trade Board there are many icons which will help you understand what the specific Trade Board Post means. In the Trips and Trades Display Pane, hover your mouse over any of the icons to display what the icon means, or you can click the Legend Toolbar button and select Trip Status Icons for a complete list.![]()
Working With The Trade Board
When working with the Trade Board, keep in mind that you can Sort and Resize the columns to your liking.When you click on a Trade Request specific information regarding this request is located in the center section of Trips and Trades Display Pane. In this example, there are Multiple Open/Drop/Trade/Pickup Requests.


Create a Trade Board Post to Drop a Trip
- Click the New Trade Board Post toolbar button or click on My Trade Board Post, New Trade Board Post.
- In the New Trade Board Post dialog box, select whether this is a Drop trip(s), Trade Trip(s), or Pickup trip(s). In this example, we will Drop Trip(s).
- Click Create.
- Click the Trade away trips and from the drop down list, select the trip to trade away.

- If you want to be contacted via E-Mail or Phone, check the box and enter your information.
- Click the Post to Unimatic or Contact before trading options.
- Enter any Comments.
- Click OK.
Create a Trade Board Post to Trade a Trip
- Click the New Trade Board Post toolbar button or click on My Trade Board Post, New Trade Board Post.
- In the New Trade Board Post dialog box, select whether this is a Drop trip(s), Trade Trip(s), or Pickup trip(s). In this example, we will Trade Trip(s).
- Click Create.
- Define the criteria for a trip you would like to pick up to replace the one you are posting.

NOTE: for more information on each criteria, please see Criteria Definitions.
- Click the Trade away trips and from the drop down list, select the trip to trade away.

- If you want to be contacted via E-Mail or Phone, check the box and enter your information.
- If you want to be Notified for new posted and open matched trips, check the box.
- Click the Post to Unimatic if this post will be submitted to Unimatic. Only one post per trip is submittable to Unimatic.
- If you select the Contact before trading option a note will be added to the comment section to that effect.
- Enter any Comments.
- Click OK.
Create a Trade Board Post to Pickup a Trip
- Click the New Trade Board Post toolbar button or click on My Trade Board Post, New Trade Board Post.
- In the New Trade Board Post dialog box, select whether this is a Drop trip(s), Trade Trip(s), or Pickup trip(s). In this example, we will Drop Trip(s).
- Click Create.
- Define the criteria for a trip you would like to pick up. Notice that you can choose to Trade away a trip, if you like. However, you do not need to trade away a trip in order to pick one up.

- If you want to be contacted via E-Mail or Phone, check the box and enter your information.
- Enter any Comments.
- Click OK.

Modify a Trade Board Post
There are many ways, you can modify a Trade Board Post. To modify a Trade Board Post:
- From the Menu Bar click Trade Board Posts, Edit.
- Double click the Trade Request under My Trade Board Post in the Left Side Panel.
- Right mouse click on the Trade Request in the Left Side Panel.
Once you are in the Trade Board Post dialog box, modify the criteria and click OK when finished.
Delete a Trade Board Post
If you decide that you no longer want the Trade Board Post, you can delete it using one of the methods below. This will NOT delete the Trade Request, ONLY the Trade Board Post.
- From the Menu Bar click Trade Board Posts, Delete.
- Right mouse click on the Trade Request in the Left Side Panel and choose Delete.
