Apollo Flight Planner
Getting Started
To begin working with the Apollo Flight Planner, you need to have an Apollo login. At your Domicile, ask the FOSC to get setup with an account and password. Once you have this information, then you can begin to use the program.
Once you have an Apollo login, you are ready to begin using the Apollo Flight Planner within Crew Companion. Click on Tools, Apollo Flight Planner. The Apollo Flight Planner will open in a separate window from Crew Companion.
Create a New Query
When the Apollo Flight Planner window opens for the first time, by default there are no queries created, so you will need to create a query before you can begin to use the Apollo Flight Planner. There is no limit to how many queries you can create.
- To create a new query, click the New button.
- In the center section of the Apollo Flight Planner window you will see instructions on how to create a New Query.
- First it is recommended that you enter a Name for the query so that it is easy to locate. If you leave it blank the Apollo Flight Planner will auto-create a name based on your selections.
- Enter your Departure Airport, VIA, and Arrival Airport. In this example, the Departure airport is Boise with the Arrival airport being San Francisco. This type of query will give direct flight information from BOI to SFO. You may need to create a Via airport to pickup a flight that is not direct. Remember, that you can create more than query.
- Select Manual Dates to allow the Depart and Return dates to vary or select Lock Dates as Selected to lock specific dates in.
- Be default the Airline is United Airlines, you can scroll through the list to select another airline or choose All at the top of the list.
Note: choosing All Airlines could result in a LONG time to run the query, so be patient if you select this.
- Select Round Trip and/or Get Loads as desired.
Note: Depending on the number of flights, this could result in a LONG time to run the query.
- Click Save to create the query and not run it. You can also click Save and Run to create the query and run it with the default Depart and/or Return Date/Times.

The query results will display on your screen. Refer to the section below for an overview of the query window and how to manage the query.
